Cost per Registration and FTD

Enter what you spent on organic content over a period and the registrations and first-time depositors you attribute to it. The calculator returns cost per registration, cost per FTD and the monthly spend. It deliberately shows no return or profit figure.

Calculator

Cost per Registration and FTD

Divide what you spent on organic content by the registrations and first-time depositors you attribute to it.

Cost per registration$0.82

Cost per FTD$2.40

Not customer acquisition cost (CAC), cost per acquisition (CPA) or return on investment (ROI). It excludes costs you did not enter and all revenue.

Per month: $3,333.33 of content investment over the period you chose.

How it calculates

  • Cost per registration = total investment ÷ registrations.
  • Cost per FTD = total investment ÷ first-time depositors.
  • Monthly investment = total investment ÷ months in the period.

With the defaults, 10,000 US dollars over three months, 12,240 registrations and 4,171 first-time depositors give about $0.82 per registration and $2.40 per FTD. These inputs are illustrative. A count of zero shows a dash instead of a ratio, because dividing by zero has no meaning.

What the ratios leave out

Both ratios include only the spend you typed. They are not customer acquisition cost, a cost per acquisition price agreed with a partner, or a return on investment. They ignore revenue, withdrawals, bonus costs, refunds and how long players stay. The first-time deposit economics paper explains each difference and why organic spend should be matched to results over a window rather than a calendar month.

Currency

The currency selector changes the symbol and the CSV label only. It does not convert amounts. Enter every amount in the currency you choose.

Questions

Why is there no ROI box?

A return figure needs revenue, withdrawals, bonus costs and player lifetime. Without them it would mislead, and deposit-based returns can encourage targets that conflict with harm-prevention rules.

Which registrations should I enter?

Those attributed to organic search under a stated attribution model and window. The attribution paper explains the choices.

Can I include agency fees and tools?

Yes. Include every cost you consider part of organic content, and list them beside the result when you share it.
